TOUR C – ANKARA TOUR PROGRAM

Following breakfast you will be picked up from your Hotel for the city tour. After a short orientation, we are heading to the Mausoleum of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk who is the great founder of the Turkish Republic. In this spectacular complex, you  are going to walk on the Lioned Road. It is opened to the Monumental Courtyard, crowned with the Hellenistic temple shaped mausoleum. Also you are going to have the chance to see the impressive guards changing.

Later, we  will  visit the Museum of Anatolian Civilizations  (with the award of best museum in Europe). There, you are going to see not only the antiques of Anatolian land but also the master pieces of civilization of our nation’s entity. The highlights of the museum are the Hittite and Frigian sections with huge monobloc sculptures and the friezes decorated and ornamented with the ancient details.

Together with an important Roman temple that is dedicated in the name of the Roman Empire, lunch is going to be served in a historic house that has been turned to a fancy restaurant with old traditional Ankara cookery. After lunch we are going to the oldest mosque of the city. When we finished our program we will leave you back to your Hotel or conference site.
